What playing this feels like
Everyone has assembled a jigsaw in some form, but photographs of sports cars carry a specific difficulty that landscapes and cartoons do not: long unbroken body curves, and reflections that change colour depending on the angle they catch.
The fastest approach starts with the border pieces and then follows the curve of the bodywork section by section. Colour is a poor guide, since the same shade can easily appear on opposite sides of the car through reflection. Wheels and headlights make far better anchors, having definite shapes and known positions.
Difficulty scales with the piece count. The lower settings suit a short sitting; the higher ones turn into a long, still, half-hour job — a completely different mood from everything else on the racing shelf, where speed is the only measure that counts.
